Chronic Facial Pain

Chronic facial pain can be devastating in a person’s life. Oftentimes, chewing, eating, kissing, smiling, and brushing teeth can trigger severe pain. Causes may include shingles, trigeminal neuralgia, TMJ syndrome, stroke pain, etc. Treatments may include oral medications, physical therapy, psychotherapy, trigeminal ganglion injections, sphenopalatine ganglion injections and surgery.

Trigeminal Neuralgia

The trigeminal nerve provides sensation to the face. When the nerve is damaged, severe facial pain can be unrelenting.

Dr. McClure and his staff are amazing! Last Friday, I was looking inside the office and it was closed. A lady saw us looking in and came to the door. The office member, Veronica, answered our questions and even set up an appointment for my husband the following Monday. The service and professionalism was impeccable. Thank you so much!
